Chicago, the usual host city for the biannual processing equipment show, witnessed a significant change this week. Formerly known as Process Expo, the event has been officially rebranded as the Equipment and Technology Show for Food and Beverage (EATS).
The announcement was made during a press conference on the opening day of the current show.
The show’s rebranding wasn’t just confined to a new name. Matt Malott, past chairman of the Food Processing Suppliers Association and president and CEO of Multivac Inc., assured that the event will maintain its core focus on food and beverage production across the supply chain.
In a move to broaden its scope, EATS is set to feature an expanded range of sectors. The 2025 event will include sweets, bakery, beverages, proteins, cannabis, dairy, pet foods, and prepared foods.
EATS will convene in Chicago in October 2025, offering an even more comprehensive look into the food and beverage industry. With the newly expanded range, the event promises to be a must-attend for professionals across various segments of the industry.
